Repetitive Motion

Repetitious games are a symbol of being put into a repetitious environment.

Just like a zoo animal paces to and fro, this repetitive behavior helps a human deal with a situation when they are put on pause – made to wait. Instead of thinking or reading, the repetitive motion is a sign of not being mentally nourished or having thoughts to know on. It’s a coping mechanism, but it looks quite autistic. It captures the attention but not the imagination. It feels like something is happening when it really is not. The hand gestures are repetitive. The space of movement is small.
